How long can we keep it up? Surely there will be a point where we can't beat the time. Even now manufacturers like McLaren are hiding their times because they don't beat X or Y by a second or two.

Formula 1 cars could prob do sub 6 minutes if it didn't fall apart by the end, but autonomous Google cars won't be fast around it.

Sub 6 minutes will take either a lot more advancments in tire technology, or a bat-shit crazy car manufacturer who will be willing to make a 200+mph high downforce car
