Hahahahahaha no. These days Merc drivers have become the new BMW drivers where I live, while BMW drivers have finally learned how to use blinkers.

Toyota. Being intelligent means buying something that will never let you down. "muh driving experience" is stupid by definition.

My mother have a 2001 1.4 Corolla. It was bought in Germany two years ago. Low mileage, underside looks clean. I noticed right away that the engine sounds weird. This clattering sound when revving, sounded a bit like a diesel. Turned out that it eats oil. Guys at service said that the engine looks bad, like the previous owner was using it with low oil level and it would be simpler to find a new engine. So the new engine sounded good and felt more powerful but recently we have noticed that the clattering sound is back again on higher revs. Also there were problems with electronics, the rear fog light keeps turning on by itself and the interior is just poor and uncomfortable. Plastic stuff all around breaks. It's clearly a city car cause it sucks on highway. I'm trying to convince her to get something nicer like Volvo V50 but no, she likes the car cause it's compact and relatively high from the ground.

Toyota durability is just a myth. And there is reason for that. Old Toyota off-roaders were durable but all the rest after is just like every other car. Mostly average.

Fair enough.
I know my fair share of people who don't like convertibles.
That said, there's something very strange about those hatchbacks. It's almost like they're niche models. Something about that rear quarter. And I don't even know what it is, I mean, I love pic related and it doesn't have too different proportions back there. It's probably proportions+rounded shape. I don't like the rear of the sedan saab 900 either. That said, I love your 900 front end.

Me nether. I like the classic 900 SPG's and I think that NG900 is a really good reincarnation of the design. They later ruined it with the late 90's/early 2000's design trends when making it into first gen 9-3 tho.
I don't like Audi's. Your pic related would be exception till it comes to their price. I'll better have the perfect SPG for the money.

That rear looks much better but still doesn't cut it for me. Specially the front end in that case. The whole stacked lights thing never did it for me. There are some old 900s that look sick though, just saw one on google. That said, the sedan I was talking about is pic related. Of course I would take any saab if it was gifted to me. Even the ugly duckling ones seem to be pretty sick when it comes to the driving experience.

I'm a 9000 and 9-5 fan. Also love their interiors.

It's true that the 99 looks more like the Renault, I can't deny it. Surprisingly enough, I think I like the silhouette of the 99 more than the 900 one. Not enough to love it though.
I'd like one of the following Swedish cars:

>960 (last facelift) both wagon and sedan
9-3 convertible

The 99 is a bit older than that Renault.
You can't not love Saab interiors if you have sat in one.
If I would want a wagon, I would go for 9-5. First facelift tho cause I like that grill better. Pre-facelift has a bit nicer rear lights.

as for me, the people I see driving Saabs keep them pristine, even the older ones. I can't come up with one bad driver anecdote that involves a saab. They're great cars but they're too quirky for normies to handle.

The only people driving mercs and porsches where I live (college town) are rich foreign exchange students from china or korea that have no fucking clue how to drive; or, at least, if they do know how to drive, it's negated by the fact that he/she is staring into their fucking phone for 50% of the time.
>>
>>14852629
There was in first sentence. The grammar tends to be messy when you are thinking in more than one language. But what's the problem? You're really trying so desperately to find a little shit like that so you could have an opportunity to attack someone with your cringyness? Get over it, kid.

I would have to say lexus as well. Lots of dumb people drive them, but so do lots of intelligent people. For a primary car, there is no reason not to buy a lexus as they are well made, the resale value is high, the dealership / service experience is good as well.

I purchased a 1 owner saab 9000 2 weeks ago. the owners were indeed quite intelligent and successful.

>>

And why did you post it here? Are you saying that every smart person should daily drive this thing? Complicated engines doesn't seem a smart choice. Old v12's are expensive to maintain. That's why old v12 sedans are so cheap now.

Porsche here

In a sea of lane-cutting BMWs, WRXs, and shitbox civics, it's actually refreshing to see a Porsche coupe once in a while. Every Porsche driver I know personally is a sane, intelligent, and wealthy individual, and I've literally never seen a Porsche hooning in my town.

Only coupes though; Panameras and Cayennes are only driven by rich soccer moms and are conversely some of the worst drivers I've ever seen.
>>
>>14859949
It's not my favorite one, but to have one you must be really rich. And to be really rich you need to be smart. This is a low production car so it's quite rare. One was destroyed by ICE not too long ago.
