I had a 2007 Wrangler with a six speed manual and didn't like it, mostly because how slow and terrible on fuel it was. The comfort was decent, the steering was extremely numb, and the interior quality was awful. The plastic would scratch from a fingernail, and the center armrest was solid plastic. There were no door arm rests.
I do like the 2012 and up models and would like to own one. They have a better engine and much better interior quality.

Can't argue with you on any of that. The Wrangler is not really a great vehicle to drive on roads, it's a beast off roads but most people will never really use it for that or won't most of the time. The new ones have come a long way though, and the new 3.6 they uses is miles ahead of the 3.8 they had, the 3.8 was just awful.

Why don't you buy something like a boss intake manifold and some headers and put some tires with some stick to them and you'll be as fast or faster than your friend. Basically any cheap thing you can do to your friends car will throw a CEL or break it if it doesn't do. that camero prob has more computers on it than a previous gen s class
