Yup, just got my second leak fixed. Got a professional detail and every time it rains, it smells like wet towels in my car. I'm so tired of this. I still owe 20k on this car, am thinking of just buying a base Mazda 3 and getting over this.

Yup, brand new! It's not the moonroof that leaks, but the passenger door seal. When you open the door, there is a piece of rubber that was bent, so they ordered another piece. I sprayed it down with a hose, found no leak, but that doesn't explain why the smell still persists after a night of rain. Other than that, I love my car. This just makes me hate it.
It's funny how similar your situation is to mine. After owning my Genesis for 6 months, I hated it. I traded it in for a MazdaSpeed3. I ended up coming out even, but that's because I worked for the dealership and it was a used car and they worked their asses of for me.

The smell can be from the AC as well. When it's humid outside (like after rain), the AC can sometimes give a moldy smell. You should get your AC components checked out.
