I need help /o/. I have a 1988 Toyota I've been trying to sell now for a couple months and can't get rid of it. I bought it for a little over 2k and am trying to sell it for about the same price so I can get something better right away.
What can I do to sell this car? It's a solid runner and posted on craigslist but people shy away when they see it's FWD.
Any advice would be appreciated.
>>
What engine does it have?
>>
Well you fucked up because the "let's all buy shitty fwd cars" trend is over.

Drive the Blazer instead.

The 4A-GE. Great motor.

>>14836470
Lol tell me about it
>>
What exact car and model is it?
>>
lower the price a bit

would you pay 2k for the same car now that it has more miles?
>>
>>14836448
>2k for an 80's FWD toyota
>asking for a price similar than the one you bought it at

OP, the problem is that you are retarded.
>>
>>14836448
If the mileage isnt bad, body is straight, and engine is in good shape and doesn't leak, then 2k isn't bad.
>>

Post it on club4ag. Should sell.
>>
Bait thread.

>Toyota
>4age
>popup headlights
>FWD

There is ONE vehicle toyota made that matches all of those, the AT160 Celica. and OP's image is not of that.
>>
>>14837200
worked it out, OP's image is an AE92 GTS.
Thats 1990's fwd toyota unless its a japanese import. (which hang on, since pre90's GTS's were not sold in the USA how did that get around the import restrictions?)
>>
>>14837200

lol.

OP never said pic was related

Post after figuring your shit out. 85-87 AE86 Corolla GTSs were sold in the US. Yes, it's an AE92, a FWD Corolla GTS, also sold in the US.

Pic is related. It is indeed my 1988 Toyota Corolla GT-S. It has straight lines, little rust (miracle for the midwest), and only a few minor dents. Also doesn't leak. It is mostly stock besides a new air filter and battery relocate. Only bad part is the 180,000 (I put 10k on it) and the FWD.

Going to be trying this right now, thank you.
>>
It's possible that op is full of shit and it's actually a 4afe
>>
>>14839376
No. Look at the picture. Plus the 4afe never came in ae92s.
It was SR5 with a 4ac or GTS with 4age
