I used to hate BMWs too. mostly because I couldn't appreciate the engineering that went into them and ofc the BMW community doesn't do the brand a favor.
but I wanned a good sports car, and as my choices were M, AMG or RS, only one of them offered my preferred choice with a manual gearbox.
