Dunno much about the car, but the engine was an air cooled flat six, which gave hella power to a lightweight vehicle like sand rails, which is the only place I've ever seen them.
2nd gen corvair friend. Really cool car and fairly fast if you get the flat 6 turbo. Dad had one that he swapped the flat 6 out for a 327 upfront. He used a falcon rear end, the falcon gas tank sat nicely where the engine used to be. Made his own motor mounts in the front "trunk". Made a tunnel for the driveshaft.
