Why don't they make Luxury Sedans with power these days
>>14819674

>>14819674
What the fuck do you mean?
You do realize those landbarges you posted are probably slower than a Corolla, right?
>>14819674

I'll give you that for the Mark V, but the Mark IV was at the height of the Horsepower wars
But they do
Pic is HSV Grange. Luxury with 340kw LS3
>>14819848
Dude does the drivers seat fully recline on those, for a tall person that wants to nap in their car?
I might get either a GS300 or LS430 and I need to know if they are comfy enough to rest in.
>>14819852

I think I'd like one too I'm just not sure I can deal with something so ostentatious. It's completely different from everything I've ever owned. Or anybody I know has ever owned for that matter.
shameless self bump
What happened to landbarges /o/?
They used to be such stylish boulevard cruisers, with such class and clean looks.
But the landbarges have disappeared. The closest thing we have today are cars like the CT6 and S-class, and those just aren't the same.

the nineties brought the blobcars and since then no car maker ever made an appealing model ever again
curves were a mistake

My dad owns a mark v Cartier that he bought brand new and only put 20k miles on it.he has let me drive it to a couple car shows and prom, it's like sitting on a cloud. It's just enormous. Can't fit in a normal parking spot.
Should I buy a CTSV wagon lads
Lexus LS comfyboys report in
>comfy suspension
>comfy seats
>comfy power
>comfy surprising boy racers on the freeway
That's ironic considering luxury cars like most cars from back in the day, were slow as shit.
>>14821899
1973 and 1979 happened doofus
I wish they'd bring back American Luxobarges. I still have mine, an 89 Mercury Grand Marquis and man do I love it.
American manufacturers still make some.
GM has the Chevy SS (more sport than luxury, but all leather and pretty well designed with all the bells and whistles) and the Cadillac V series
Ford has the Lincoln MKS that does aight with the EcoBoost V6 and the Continental due next year is projected to make about 400 hp
Dodge had an SRT8 version of the 300 but that's discontinued and the most power they make now is about 300hp
And don't get me started on what the Europeans and Japanese put out.
They exists, just look and be ready to pay.
>>14819886
Looks better than most beds. 10/10 would nap in
>>14825107
You can still get the 300 with a 5.7. Bot an SRT but still makes about 380hp.
>>14819868
And horsepower for what? All it does with the mountains of power is geriatrically crawl to highway speeds and stay there.
R8 my mark V Lincoln. 165hp 400 ci v8. So. Fucking. Comfy.
