End it friend, save me the trouble.
Your corvette isn't running because its owner has no idea how to keep a car on the road.
Next time, consider some diagnosis before you start wasting money on parts.
>>
>>14819171
because it was some crazy expensive flagship
that said a 4th gen corvette should not have problems
>>
plz post more pics of svx

>>14819171
SVX a good
Stick a tranny cooler on it and drive forever.
>>
>>14819171
>buy things before knowing what's really going wrong
There is no excuse for this in the year 2016. We have the internet and tons of resources to help us diagnose.
>>
>>14819171
Go get the car OP. The shop may be useful for some things but they are clearly incompetent with driveability diagnosis. There's absolutely no reason a shop should be stumped by a fucking Tuned Port and grasping at straws. Or injectors in this case.

in my defense, i bought the car, non running. diagnosis is near impossible because the terminals have been ripped apart and the wiring is a rats nest. there was no fuel pump and the assembly was rusted to shit so naturally i replaced both. the car ran, albeit with two dead cylinders, so i put in new plugs. then it ceased running all together. I had to feed it gas to get it even started and then idhave to play with the throttle to keep it going. I appreciate the roast but I did do my best before signing it off to a shop.

>>
>>14821895
Oh so is it FWD? Ive had mine is 09 and I love it. Rebuilt the motor in 2011 and soon to be doing the 5spd swap.
>>
there's an svx at the top of my street that has just been mercilessly abused by it's owner
rust EVERYWHERE, broken windows, missing panels, fucked tires, etc
I feel so bad for it

nah, AWD thank god. I wouldnt have gone for a FWD one, even for $300. It's definetly got an oil leak somewhere but I have to pin point it, but I have driven around the block and it shifts nicely through the gears so i think im in buisness. Just gonna get this leak taken care of and see what inevitably fails next, like i did with my 89 firebird. I bought it and spent 6 months nursing it back to health, new trans lines, brake lines, front brakes, water pump, headgasket etc. with the more beat up stuff you got to fix it as you go. This svx is nothing like my firebird was though.
>>14821907
damn that sucks. I hate when its so bad even part out value is lost.
>>
>>14821941
Yeah just be some what gental on the trans and you should be fine. Maybe even replace the fluid to be safe.
>>
>>14821986
yeah, thinking about getting a trans cooler like >>14820038

Yeah thats not a bad idea. Check out planet svx, they have a decent amount of parts. Also holler at me on here if you got questions. It can be a tricky car at times especially when it comes to parts and information

>>
>>14822062
sounds good my man, just registered

>>14822102
if its a 94/95, try to get a vin and decode it online, make sure it isnt FWD. If it's got a leather interior its an LS or the top trim LSi like mine. good luck!
