Because you could buy one 10 years newer with 1/3 of the miles for $6000 more.
because you will crash it at a car meet.
I'm amazed at how tasteful that is.

Because you can find late 90s Mustang GTs for less then 5 grand. Got a 97 GT with 83,000 miles
for 3000 dollars for a project car.

This is the red flag, although almost unbelievably the car actually does look well sorted out, you never really know though, it's just not a good idea to buy a modified car

1: the wheels look awful on it
2: I don't really like mustangs
Can't think of a third

I would say no. I own a 2006 gt and I'm tired of it. Also if you're planning putting boost to it those cams need to come out ( I have those cams and there are better options like brenspeed cams) and the cai. Also that motor can only take about 450 whp before it becomes a time bomb. You could probably find a 2011 5.0 for a few grand more.

This.
All those bullshit mods that may or may not be trustworthy when a 2014 makes 10 more horsepower from the factory. Who would want a 100k mile decade old 4.6 car that someone shit all over when you could have a crispy clean hardly touched 5.0 for a little more?

>he fell for the mustang meme
>>14813454
>modified
>out of warranty
>10 years old
You're gonna have yourself a real good time with that car
>>14813454
ugliest mustang out there, pay a little more, spring for a newer model, with the same HP and relax and know that this one has been less abused

1; you shouldn't be buying finished projects from anywhere other than a reputable garage; exceptions for when you know the owner personally and have worked on the car with him before.
2; for 15k you have enough money to make a hefty down payment to keep your monthly fees low, and still have money stashed away to begin paying for said car or to play with at your own discretion.
3; you'll die because if you come to o for actual advice you're likely an under 25 yo male just trying to become a statistic.
