When I was pretty young there was this older kid in my village who had a 2stroke dirtbike. He'd talk about its powerband and when it was "on" it would make the bike much faster.

330's less common in manual in my area, more expensive, and have more miles, I was looking for something in the ~5k range.
As a kid I thought that disc wheels on trucks were hubcaps for spoked wheels. Blame pic related movie.
When I was little I thought the pressure of the gas coming out of the exhaust moved the car, hence why cars with more exhaust were faster.
I never thought any of this dumb shit because my father loved me and taught me everything about cars. The worst things I used to think are that American cars are great and German cars are unreliable.

Also I was afraid of all vans because I saw a burned out van while walking to the store. I thought that they would randomly explode if I got near one and I would avoid them at all costs. One time I almost got hit by a car because I crossed the street to avoid a parked van.
When I was about 6 I jumped into the front drivers seat while waiting for my dad. While pretending to drive I just assumed that I had to shift gears and that the car was RWD. My mom had to explain to me that our Cavalier was FWD and automatic. I Don't think I had ever really been in any car except for that one, but maybe I had ridden in my brothers truck by that point which could explain why I thought that.

Well technically no wings help the car turn, since they give downforce at the rear, which tends to create understeer at the front. This is why people often use lips on the front of their cars for extra grip on the front tires.

A rear wing helps better than no wing, front wing helps better than rear wing, both wings help better than front wing.
