What is the best 2+2 coupe or sport sedan under 70k?

Can be manual or DCT.

Thinking a Tesla P85 since it seems it outforms the shitty new BMWs and AMGs in that price range these days.
Mustang GTR350 (can you get those with the rear seats still?) seems nice but is a lot of money for a Mustang.
No Camaro.

911s have rear seats. And it's a pissant car.

You guys are retarded.

Used 997, or M3. For $70k in an M3, you could have a 2010+ with quite a few mods. 650+ hp easily attainable, BBK, etc. Depends what you want the car for. If you don't beat it on the track, I'd get a nice used 991 or 997 turbo (can be found for 70k)
>>

>911 is a pissant car
No you. RR is hands-down the most hardcore layout, and Porsche is the only marque committed to it. You can easily buy a used Turbo for 70k and be faster than anything you'll encounter outside of Abu Dhabi.
>>
>>14807172
This.
The only place where a Tesla MIGHT outperform a stock M3 or 911 is the drag strip, racing from a standstill. A RWD sports coupe will outperform any AWD sports coupe on rolling start drag races and on actual race tracks.
>>
>>14807175
Traction control and babby suspension takes the hardcore out of it.

I think a Giulia would be ideal, faster than the Cayman GT4 on the Nurburgring while having 5 seats and 4 doors, and $70k compared to $85k. But it looks like it's never going to come to America. Delays after delays.

Friend already has an E92 M3. Want something different. And don't like the newer M3.

Remove one fuse from the fuse box so conveniently placed in your front footwell.

>babby suspension
Possibly the most tunable part of the entire car.

Just say you see too many dentists driving Porsches and won't feel like a special snowflake in one.

Looking for something less typical, like the Giulia is.

I'd go with a Porsche if you have 70k to spend. I've driven many cars (Aston's, R8s, etc etc) and nothing quite feels as nice as the M3, except Porsche's. I'd look specifically at 911, 911s, 997 911 turbo, or a Cayman GT4.

Porsche 911 is such a boring option.

What is bad about an RS5? It looks nice. V8, AWD. Looks pretty comfy.
Pigfat like the Lexus, though.

Giulia? As in Alfa Romeo? You gotta be fucking kidding me? Have you ever owned one?

I wouldn't touch Italian cars with a fucking 10 foot pole, with an exception of Ferrari and Lamborghini.

I've owned my fair share of Italian cars and motorcycles, last one was ducati 1098 and there'll probably never going to another

I feel like you guys are being helpful
but $50k-$70k 2+2 coupes and sport sedans in the USA are just god awful.

If there is something over 70k, like 85k, could maybe go with that, but there just appears to be nothing good. This segment sucks and too many bad cars made to appeal to people with more money than sense.

And don't get me wrong, I don't think a 911 or M3 is bad. I just don't want one.

>>14807804
M235i is hardly any faster than a Camaro.

buy a ferrari 360 and attach this shit whenever you need the extra passenger capacity
>>
Just buy the GT350. It comes with a back seat. The GT350R is the track-spec version with no back seat, and all the luxuries deleted.

For the cost, you get a 526HP 5.2L V8, Tremec 6-speed, torsen diff with 3.73 gears, line-lock, launch control, and MASSIVE brakes.

It can be had for just under $48k. If you have $70k to spend, that leaves a lot of room for mods. Personally, I'd get the wheels and wing from the GT350R, and plop a big blower on the thing.
>>
Tesla and sports... lol. Those fat pieces of shit can't even get around a track without shutting down
>>
>>14808116
So you can't get the GT350R with a back seat? Doesn't it also have better brakes and other things lacking in the GT350?
>>
>>14808156
The GT350R has no option for back seats. The R package deletes the rear seat, rearview camera, AC, auxiliary gauges, floor mats, flat tire kit, and stereo system. It also comes with carbon fiber wheels, a neat wing, and a new front splitter.

You can get everything except the rear seat and AC back with the $3000 electronics package.

The GT350R is primarily competitor to the Camaro Z/28, which is a more track-oriented alternative to the ZL1.
>>
>>14808199
Ahh. So could get the GT350 and add on the carbon fiber wheels, front splitter, and possibly the wing.

The wing is removable/adjustable, right?

How long do you guys think until the Viper ACR drops a bit in value? Oh, but that doesn't have back seats. Fuck.
>>
>>14808252
You can't option any of those onto the standard GT350, and base price for the R is $65k if I remember correctly. They both make the same amount of power, but the R looks better and weighs less due to all the stripped out shit. If you're not dead-set on buying new, look at an '06 GTO. It's basically a Corvette with a back seat, and without screaming "I'm better than you" at everyone around you. They can be had for about $15k with low miles in perfect condition.
