Which car company has consistently produced The absolute shittiest cars known to man? Is that car company still around today? Or have they been put six feet under in hopes of never being heard from again?

Alfa romeo

They produced some shit cars, but many were very good looking, in my opinion. I'm talking about looks wise, reliability, just plain shit that almost no one would buy.

Yes actually, it's called the Austín Morton, produced in Bolivia. It's relatively cheap there, but many people still can't afford it.

I've read troves of accounts of maseratis being extremely unreliable, even relative to the rest of the supercar market.

/o/, I am proud to present to you the marvelous Fiat Duna, aka The Absolute Shittiest Car Ever Made.

Here in Italy it's known as "the car that can tip over while parking despite havng four wheels"
>>
>>14802296

what's wrong with it? it's literally just a normal Fiat Uno with a backpack
>>
>>14802296
The Duna is a decent car, the shittiest thing about it it is the plastic bumpers that tend to break so fucking easily

Tata is the only answer. Literal shitboxes.
Only one that could compete would be some sovietic brand like Lada if it didn't have the Niva to redeem it, Zaz or Trabant.

They've had their gems. Every single one of these has made at least one acceptable car.

Yugo would be a logical choice.

However, I nominate another company.
A company whose styling department seems to consist of nothing but blind people, whose quality control department doesn't seem to take their job seriously and whose safety department doesn't even seem to exist.

Ssangyong.

Chrysler and jeep hands down.
while other OEMs like Ford and chevy are increasing quality, Chrysler is going backwards.

Up until the latest generation or two, KIA was the absolute worst. They had the ugliest fucking cars, had god-awful safety ratings, were dirty cheap, unmodifiable, completely unreliable, and threw rods like it was going out of style.

K Cars and minivans were good. The cloud cars were good as well until Daimler hit and the 2.7 was introduced. Chrysler itself was only really bad during the Daimler/Cerberus years and for a couple years in the late 70s (like every other domestic brand)
>>
>>14799343
they produced the mini for a while,
>>
>>14804459
yep this
>>
>>14804459

Ssangyong is a very good answer, but lets be honest there is a reason why you don't see the Austin or Woseley brands any more, Morris being only slightly more common because Minor.

The reason was that the company was a fucking mess for 20+ years and produced shit quality cars that rusted to fuck all, didn't start properly half the time after only a few years ownership, etc etc

>source, everyone. Including unfortunate members of my family.
