Because they don't invent or innovate, they copy.
Because of ths, their products are always a generation or two behind their supposed "competition", but reliability is pretty good because they're using known technology, hence their insanely long warranties.

it wouldn't cause much backlash at all considering the Camaro is one tenth of a second slower than an M3 or M4 and if a Genesis beat a Camaro or something than that would also mean it beat a German car and the shitposting wouldn't make sense at that point.

Yeah I know people in the local Genesis clubs, they've put near $20k into some of their R-Spec Genesis. I'm not going to try and persuade you otherwise but you can do better for the money, like a 2014 Mustang GT for $23k.

We're talking about an Ecoboost Mustang here. Even if the Genesis Coupe did slightly edge put a win (which it doesn't), it still gets raped by the v8 GT.

I found driving the Hyundi's in the past is that they have their suspension setup by a drunk, or at least they handle that way.
Bit of work there to tighten them up, get the steering feel a bit better and they'd do ok

Yeah, they're a bit notchy when new, dunno if that beds in over time.
Way I always figured a decent torsion bar, pineapples in the connectors and either coilovers or some reasonable mono-tube struts would make them a different car.
