If they actually do stop production in the US market, as their announcement implied, the North American 4 door hatchback version of the Fiesta ST stands to have a fairly devoted niche market. Production for the North American model only began in 2013, and if they stop this year that will mean a limited number of the vehicles were produced for only three years.
I don't know about achieving collectible status, but who knows what the next 15 years hold.

I can't speak on the wagon but I had a cts-v coupe from that generation and it was a great car. Around 550 hp, big torque. It was heavy (around 4K lbs iirc) but quick and fun to hoon in. Wish I had gotten the wagon desu, have never seen a V wagon irl
