So 5L v8 for a decent price. Do i pull my trigger on the 2016 model?

Wait a couple years, buy it lightly used while still under warranty and save 25%

The Mustang doesn't look like a toy and you can actually see out of it. I want to like the Camaro but I just can't
>>
>>14792665
I can't. They're good cars if you can deal with the boyracer stigma.
>>
>>14792717
In all fairness the boyracers are mostly corralled in the V6/I4 models.
>>
>tfw no pony car with mustang exterior but with camaro chassis, engine, and interior
>>
>>14792692
The new Camaros looks pretty dope but the windows are ridiculous
>>
>>14792732
God damn I'd buy that in a heartbeat; the S550 interior isn't bad per se but the Camaro is a lot comfier feeling.
>>
>>14792723
only because they can't afford a GT

fuck all that though. it's a good car for what it is.
>>
>>14792732
>camaro interior

Have they stop putting the cobalt interior in the Corvette yet?
>>
OP here I'll buy the GT after test driving the camaro SS. I agree that GT suffers from american interior syndrome... but still a great car regardless

Those engines for that generation unlike the S197 and earlier aren't total dogshit but yes, they're bought mostly by idiots who just want to blog about their "stang" on Facebook.
>>
>>14792837
It doesn't, do you have a point here?

drove a friends 2014 burger gt/cs

the clutch is amazing, the new 5.0l is gr8 tq is gud the thing opens up like mad. handled pretty decent in the small bit of cornering I got to play with. turning radius wasnt gr8. but it was a good car and thats w/o the IRS. GET ONE its alot of fun.

I'm actually going to that this year. It's a mustang show in PA and I want to show off my turbo foxbody. About 2000 people bring mustangs to it, they have dynos and a 1/8 mile strip, it's cool.
>>
>>14792665
No. Wait for the 2017 GT model. It'll have a gorilla glass windshield.

Makes hot rodding a no brainer. You can just point and click your way to whatever you want. Just add money.

Try that with a Nissan. Nowhere near as easy.

Serious question. Why get the V8 Mustang when you can by the Ecoboost instead, for 10k less and be able to tune it for less than 500 dollars so it's faster than the V8?
>>
>>14799562
Because muh vee-ate feels, and it might take more money, but the GT is purely a better car.
>>
>>14799562
Because it's not really a mustang if it's not a v8.

>>
>>14797355
Better than the Mustang. Mustang's interior *looks* okay, but there's lots of hard plastic that scratches easily. And if you get the leather seats, the leather wrinkles on the bolsters, a sign that the seats will look like shit in a few years.
>>
>>14798117

That frameless rear view mirror is so sexy. I want it in my Volt. I wonder if it will fit...

It's meh imo. The materials may be nicer but the design is just too weird, I hate the gauge cluster particularly. And I'm a huge delusional GM fanboy
>>
>>14799562
Because it will literally, figuratively and metaphorically sound like someone straining while taking a shit
>>
>>14803242
As someone who always liked Mustangs over the equivalent Camaro, that interior is a lot fucking comfier and nice; the S550 Mustang reeks of OMG TECHNOLOGY SHINY.

As you said, the windows ruin it, though
>>
>>14803261

Don't get me wrong, I'd still pick the Camaro and I would probably get used to the interior anyway. I really like the new Mustang tho
>>
>>14803314
In a perfect world I'd have the Mustang exterior and Camaro everything else. The new Mustang is great, I just don't like the interior although it is a massive step up from the S197
>>
>>14803174
maybe even more
Like they are rentals they depreciate like crazy
>>
>>14803336
I'd also like Ford to actually own the car given GM being GM and all.
>>
>>14803336
Honestly, as a Camaro fan its hard to admit, but the Mustang interior actually seems a little bit better in terms of layout.
>>
>>14803898
I'll agree, I just don't like the Mustang interior at all.

Why would I buy an older car with more miles than an almost new v6 that performs nearly as well? Sure it's not the v8 but the new v8 is nearly as fast as the 2010 and later v8, while also having all the modern tech.
>>
>>14811588
That's a nice mustang my bro but, in your shoes i would have gone for a 2011 or 2012 v6 manual with the performance package, they are selling for about 11 to 13k nowadays and most of them have like 60k miles.
