is it a good idea to buy some cheap ass rx7 with a blown engine and swap some common non- rotary engine (its a real nice looking car!) in? can i get a shop to do this? how much do you think it'll cost and how reliable could it be?

Even though you stated the RX7 in question would already have a blown engine its probably still going to rustle someone's jammies.
>how reliable could it be?
The engine you are swapping itself should be just as reliable as it was in the car it was originally in unless the RX7 you are buying is a beat-up shitbox rusting away.

About $500 per cylinder.

It rustles my jim-jams because it's so pointless most of the time. Admittedly it's not as bad if the RX7 already has a dead engine/is a rolling shell, but it's the shit like
>yo bro check out my RX7 bro
>gonna V8 swap it bro get that LS power bro
>What's wrong with the rotary?
>nothin bro but I NEED that LS bro
And then they stuff the LS and a T56 into it and they've got a somewhat heavier, marginally larger Corvette.
Why not just buy a Vette from the start?
rb25 rx7 when
