Ayy, I'm running 26lbs of boost currently, I know a guy with an upgraded IWG running 31lbs of boost on his daily Fiesta. They're fun cars, especially when tuned for an ethanol blend.

Getting 30mpgs average, 35+ on the highway.
>>
>>14790172
Sorry for the deleted post m8, forgot my faggy trip.

They run about 24lbs stock, and have forged rods from the factory. People run huge turbos on stock internals good for 350whp/torque, I think someone finally broke the stock internals at 426whp.

If anything it's the tiny turbo that's going to wear out running that much boost.
>>
>>14790189
I seriously doubt some one is making 400whp on all stock internals, the injectors would need to be bigger, the heads would need higher flow, not to mention a higher flow oil and fuel pump, more aggressive cam lift the list goes on

Does my diesel Punto count as boosted?
If so, it's gr8 m8.
>>
>pair of retarded attention-whoring tripfags ruin the thread already

Get the fuck off this board.
>>
>>14790208
Injectors are not internal bruh. pretty sure if it's the original cams, valves, crank, pistons and rods that's stock internals. If they build a 1.6 to the same standards as their 2.3 I don't doubt the ability. And the 2.3 can take quite a bit.
>>
>>14790208
Here was the original post after they hit the 400whp point, like I said, it blew at 426whp so it wasn't sustainable.

Take a load of this naturally aspirated fag.
>>
>>14790227
Did you miss his point completely because it seems like you did.

400whp on stock internals is bullshit lie. I can push my subbie to take 35psi does it mean it's smart or reliable? No it isn't.
>>
>>14790208
>>14790242
Heh, and here's the post about it blowing up:
http://www.fiestastforum.com/forum/threads/5731-WTH-is-DHM-doing-today-!-!?p=106694&viewfull=1#post106694

Anyway, the did have to add an AUX fuel kit and bigger injectors, the full modification's are listed on the post.
>>
>>14790080
Dudeeeee I am Ecoooo boosted Dudeeeeeeeee

0-60 in 7 seconds
>>
>>14790259
Exactly how they blew it up. Possible does not mean smart, reasonable, or reliable. It got there once so that means it did it.

This guy's been running about 330whp on his daily tune, cranked up to 375whp on track days on a water/meth injection aux fuel.

Here's a thread of people who daily 300whp with excellent reliability:

Just got a 2016 WRX premium a couple weeks ago.

>discuss why boost is bad/good for DD

First boosted car and haven't hit the 1k break in period yet. So far my observation is, power when I want/need it 30+ mpg when I don't. Stock tune seems shitty. Rev hang on 1st to 2nd is annoying. Surges in the powerband. Powers through corners like it's on rails. Overall I'm happy.
>>
>>14790319
good shit bro im getting mine next week when it gets dropped off at the dealer too bad this thread got ruined by poorfags with their faggot hatches
>>
>>14790315
>>14790259
It didn't even break the internals, it just blew up a plastic intake! 430 is not out of the relm of possibility of it holds together. Thanks for backing me up.ya stupid trip fag. Now lose the trip and people won't hate you

Not my pic but this exact model.

As the guy above said about the Subaru, power when I need it, good MPG when I dont. Practical as fuck.

Would love a hardcore weekend car though. Like a C63 AMG or something with a crazy turbo.

did you drive a WRX prior?
i actually prefer the WRX to the STI. the STI is a lot faster and that evident, but once you get on it you have to change gears every second because those trans are geared way too short. the WRX still has decent power, and you can actually put it all down without having to shift so soon.

Nigger, here's mine. I ordered a JB1 module which is plug and play and unanimously the best power mod if you don't want to void warranty.

It makes the car feel like what it should have been from factory.
>>
>>14790565
goodbye ringlands
>>
>>14790730

My nigga.

What difference does it make to power?

I thought those things could still be traced due to adding excessive wear on the turbo etc?
>>
got a mk7 golf

no problems with it at 11xxx km

spend about $40 on gas for 450 km city/hwy
>>
>>14790810

>Power Gains: 35whp and 40ft lb with 91 octane with +4.75psi boost over stock. With bolt on's, higher octane and boost adjustment (using optional USB DATA cable) vehicles have shown 75whp and 70ft lb. Example dyno graph is an intake, downpipe and JB Stage 1 with +6psi and 93 over stock 7R.

That is amazing for $379.

This does not put up a flag at all. The guy from this company is on vwvortex forums and he is very helpful, he gives individual answers. Burger Motorsports have been making tuner shit for BMW for a long time. This is their first time with VW and they are doing pretty good.

6.5lbs of boost on a challenger RT. Want to change pulley to 8 lbs and get water injection. City mpg is around 13, highway is 25-30. It's fun to drive.
>>
>>14790645
No, first time was on the test drive.
I honestly can't comment too much on the MT. I learned manual on a 5 speed shit box and have been driving autotragic shit boxes for the last 12 years. I've basically had to relearn how to use a MT. I can say the stock tune makes shifting from 1st to 2nd in anything other than grandma speed rough.

lol. yeah right buddy.
>>14790080
boosted cars are fine for DD if your turbo isn't too massive. overall i prefer N/A to turbo, but that is a personal preference.

Cobb: Intake, APv3
Mountune: Splitter, Rear Motor Mount (Roll-Restrictor), Quick Shift
MAPerformance: Intercooler, Exhaust
Piercemotorsports:Front Strut Brace, Two-Point Tie Bar, Trunk Brace, Torsion Beam Stiffener
Eibach: Rear sway bar

Tune+: E30, 93, 91, & Economy Tunes
Sparco Assetto Gara 16x7 +44 wheels with BFGoodrich Comp 2 A/S tires

I also have a Tune+ wastegate actuator waiting to go on, just trying to decide if it's worth the install or not.

I have some after market turn signals and fog bulbs from Diode Dynamics, a Flossy shift knob, and some other cosmetic things. Happy to answer whatever questions you might have to the best of my ability.
>>
>>14792699
how quick did you get into the mods? I've only got about 1k miles on the clock and >muh DD warranty so I didn't want to go too crazy. I was looking at the basic MP215 but then for further upgrades it seems like the cobb AP is much more widely used than the mTune
>>
Forester XT, spec c turbo, intercooler, dp, tune

7 is parked, I don't know if it will pass visual here.
>>
>>14792789
I started the mods around 3k, first things that went on were the QuickShift and Roll-Restrictor (Rear Motor Mount).

Those are two modifications that are much more quality-of-life things more than necessary upgrades, though the rear motor mount keeps the engine from crashing into the firewall every time you go WOT.

I think most people would say do the RMM first, then do an intercooler and tune if you're looking for the cheapest path to power. If you want to keep your warranty in-tact as much as possible, do things that don't effect the electronics like chassis bracing, wheels, suspension, etc before getting a Cobb AP and a pro-tune.

metallic grey base model fiesta st (no recaros)
i want to get custom plates that say 'WEW'

should i or just stick to boring default plates
>>
>>14792869
If you get WEW as your play you'll probably get some personal lulz out of it, but if you hoon it a bit too hard, all someone has to do is call up the local PD and say 'ayyy m8 i just saw some faggot in a fiesta with the plate 'wew', no spelled double-you-eeeeee-double-you, doing way too fast around a corner and then speeding off, he's being reckless' or some bull shit.

They don't you fucking idiot. They don't set off TD1 and you can unhook the unit in 5 minutes before going to the dealer.
>>
>>14794003
blow your engine and theyll find out. no tune is 100% untraceable. they will see your car has been overboosting. you wont TD1 for a regular service but if ur claim is big enough they will fuck you fool

I DD an '03 SVT Cobra.

Simple bolt-on car.
3" upper pulley
Magaflow Catback
Diablosport canned tune.

>>14794201
Not sure if the JB1 works similarly or not, but when you flash a tune onto a Ford I believe it resets the ignition cycle counter in the computer and that's how they can tell if you've been running a tune or not, how many times the car has been turned on/off and your mileage.
