Would I be fucking up if I moved on this? I'm thinking the high miles shouldn't be too concerning since it's essentially a fancy Toyota?
>2007
>$13,920
>118,052 mi.
link doesnt work for me, but I do own a 2006 is250. the 350 is a good car but almost 14k is a lot of money

^^^ I think that's actually the same link I posted originally, but it works for me. Weird.
Anyways, I listed the stats, so that's not too important.
14K is a little high for that mileage. if you can bring the price down to 12K or less, i'd jump on it.
>>14778432
How do these feel to drive? Some reviews I've read complain that you can't turn off the electronic nannies, sort of smothering its potential performance.
^^^ Not that that's a huge deal, as I'm really just looking for a reasonably quick, comfy cruiser. Not trying to track or anything.
>>14778376
>Sub 5 second car
>reliable port and direct injection 3.5 that still used to this day
>Good mpg
>Decent comfy leather interior
>great sounding v6
only con i think is the slow as fuck shifting auto
Haggle it down and its good.
>>14778527
I'm not a huge fan of this gen whatsoever. I had more headroom in a miata than in this car. The only thing I'll give it is that the interior is otherwise nice and their old school PRNDL indicators from the 90's gives me nostalgia
>>14778619
>headroom
Luckily I'm only 5'10'' :-)
Fuck the passengers.

If you're too poor for BMW... Sure.
>>14778394
118,052 mi. isn't really much
>>14780957
I believe OP's not turkish
>>14778555
>^^^
Where the fuck do you think you are nigger, Facebook?
>>14780970
This. Comes out to about 13k miles per year which is fairly average.
>>14780957
Since this car & similar 3 series BMWs are going to be in the same price range, this comment is irrelevant. Keep riding the BMW cock tho, it suits you.
>>14780980
>actually thinks everyone in /o/ should track their car or gtfo
>>14780980
Lexuses (Lexii?) aren't really track cars, they're just fancy reliable Toyotas.
I like Lexus cars in general, and drive a current gen GS. Prior to that I had a 2008 IS, and it is the one Lexus I wouldn't recommend buying. They drive well, the auto isn't bad for an auto and has paddle shift, but my car at least had more problems than I'd expect from a Lexus. The worst of those was a wiring harness issue that caused an airbag warning light; estimated repair cost was well over $3K. That was a known issue that wasn't fixed until the 2010 model year, I think. Also, the cabin air recirculation flap gets broken on a lot of these cars, due to people not reading the instructions when changing cabin air filter... so check that.

>>14780989
Great reading comprehension there. I was referring to the retarded way OP chooses to quote people.
>lexus
why
>>14780989
This... the "sporty" Lexus models handle reasonably well but the overall bias is towards comfy.
>>14778527
2007 and up include controls to turn e-nannies off.
>>14780989
True. Though the IS series is certainly more capable than ES.

Calm your autism. No one cares.
>>14781015
I suppose it's just as fair to ask, why not?
At that price point, why not the superior IS300?
>>14781126
Yea, Because a non-turbo 15 year old 2j with 200hp is definitely better than a 6 year old engine with 275hp. Derp.
>>14781145
IS350 actually has 306 HP.
>>14781126
Superior in what way? It's slower and the interior is dated.
>>14781213
Personal preferences I guess.
I6 vs V6
>>14781126
>IS300
>tfw can't find one that hasn't been molested by some wigger
>>14781251
For a lot of V6 engines that would be a fair concern, but the Toyota 3.5 V6 is a 60 degree V, so has the right firing intervals, and is extremely smooth.
IS350 is actually a really all around car.
>fast
>luxurious
>4 door room for the entire senpai
It's only auto unfortunately but I think it's worth it. Couple of bolt ons will make it 0-60 in sub 5.
>>14781126
2JZ is only worth getting if you plan on pumping serious money into it. Plus it's only first gen. OP wants the 2g IS350.
>>14781356
>and less interior space than a corolla of the same vintage
>>14781356
OP here. Biggest thing I'm worrying about is that I'll miss driving manual. Ideally I'd have the Lexus as my daily, and something else as my weekend toy, but I can't really afford two cars.
>>14781379
Just get a cheap Miata for second car...
>>14781379
I think the power of the engine will be enough to where you won't care after a while. Auto ain't so bad with a luxury car.
