it's a free tier "mod" mostly done by young ricers with base model vehicles. usually seen in conjunction with
>plastidipped gas cover
>broadway mirror
>tow hook
>super long colored lug nuts with or w/o a spike on the end
>stickers arranged at a 45° angle along the left side of the rear window
>giant banner along the bottom of windshield

Depends.
I deleted the GS-R and VTEC badges off my Integra, all it says is Acura on the back now.
I did that because a few forums suggested it, better to look like an LS than to get your engine stolen because it's a GS-R.

Debadging anything else?
depends, most of the time I don't approve of it or care about badges, but I did help a friend rebadge his SRT-4 neon as an SXT neon, he then got it repainted without telling me and tore me a new asshole a few weeks later.
never knew it was him til he rolled his window down.

In general though it will always depend on the situation.

The only people who debadge their cars are ricer faggots, it does not make your car look like a sleeper.

At best it makes you look like an idiot who thinks your car goes WICKED FAST BRAH when all you did was stick a glasspack from Autozone on and put in a K&N air filter.

Back when I had an Infiniti G37, I debadged just the "I N F I N I T I" lettering on the trunk lid because it looked too busy. Major aesthetic improvement to just have the Infiniti logo.

Some of these are fucking dumb as hell and was probably written by a woman or lazy fuck who doesn't have the time or money to work on his car so he spends the majority of his time hating on people with attention to detail.

>Little tree air freshener
WOW WHAT A FAGGOT HE WANTS TO MAKE HIS CAR SMELL GOOD

>Nobody eats in my car
WOW WHAT A FAGGOT HE WANTS TO KEEP HIS CAR INTERIOR CLEAN

>$100 cleaning supplies
SERIOUSLY SUCH A FUCKING FAGGOT MAKING HIS CAR CLEAN IT SHOULD HAVE DIRT, PISS, AND SPLIT SODA ON THE SEATS OTHERWISE ITS NOT A REAL CAR

>Removed a badge to your car
I don't blame people for doing it. Some cars come littered with emblems in all four corners - TOYOTA CAMRY LE V6 DEALER NAME. We get it. Leaving the Toyota emblem (because everyone knows what it looks like) and Camry name would have been fine.

Also the bolt on exhaust really depends on the exhaust quality. Super loud, raspy, fake stainless steel - everyone hates that shit. If it's clean, resonated, high quality - a lot of people actually enjoy it.... except poorfags.
>>
>>14780865
>tfw holes on my decklid for the badge
Luckily the JDM taillights say the model of the car in them (USDM say the make) and I can replace it with a JDM badge that only says GT that uses the mounting holes so it doesn't say the model of the car twice.

Does Karting for years and years count as trackday or auto-x experience. A lot of the people who do track days/burgerring shit are awful drivers because it isn't necessarily competitive, you can drive like shit on a track day and no one really cares.

I also only wrap and vinyl my car because its my job, I can literally do it for free like a janitor.

I don't see why getting info and tips from youtube is a bad thing. I could go and ask my family who are mechanics but they don't really work on my cars engine that often so I'd trust the word of an 30+ year expert on youtube than a 'real' mechanic who doesn't specialize in the area.

I also don't use facebook, but if i did I would join car groups on there - seems like the most likely way to get into track days/autox if you don't have friends into it already. How do you plan on getting non-internet info on cars if you don't network/socialize

I rate you faggot/faggot, you're probably a shitstain irl.

It depends on the situation. I wouldn't debadge my future sportbike. Because the graphics on a sportbike make it unique and are part of the aesthetic.
Most cars? Yeah. The badges usually interfere with the aesthetic, drawing attention away from the lines of the car. If the badge were something cool like the pillar decal of the z cars, I'd keep that.

But most decals are fucking garbage and shouldn't be on the car, post purchase. I didn't buy a car to advertise for the company.

You're a classy guy, I can tell. Here, have a pic of some southern belles at a car show I went to at a formerly slave-owning plantation.
