$8900 is the alternative, but the interior isn't quite as pristine

Tbh I didn't want to blow $10000 on a car, but it seems anything semi presentable is at least $6000 and needs $1000 of work, so these are starting to seem like good deals, as opposed to 2008 Mazda 3s with similar mileage. 140hp just hurts to think about.

Still too much money unless you have solid records of all maintenance performed and it's in great shape.

Our experience of owning an Infinity for 8 years says they are never cheap. Something expensive is always 20K miles away. If the owner ignored maintenance, especially recently, you're probably going to be in for thousands soon.

Claims to have all records (including regular oil changes) in ad, I haven't called yet. Still trying to narrow down what I want.

Looked at some aforementioned Mazda 3s, but they are a shit. I feel like CL used to be better. Baw baww.

One last Q - how are these things usually handled? Go to bank together and get them a cashier's check? Or cash?
>>
>>14777244
depends a lot on how private party car purchases work in your state
>>
>>14777259

Yeah, this. See if there is some sort of "standard" form for private party purchases you could download and print out. When I sold a motorcycle in Illinois I found a really nice form that somebody created that checked all the boxes for legal requirements for selling "as-is, no warranty implied" that both of us could sign. Be sure all parties are aware of sales tax implications and who pays them.
