Men drive more often on average. Therefor, we get in more accidents on average. But the weighted average shows women are severely further into the red.
There was a 2008 study which showed the accident rates of people and plotted it with a 1000 person survey on how often they drove. Women came out at nearly twice as likely per mile.

In my experience driving (~500 miles per week) all of the close calls I've had have been with female drivers, usually on their fucking phone not paying attention.

I got a good examiner and thankfully passed on the first try. I barely studied or learned anything from classes, but goddamn I was a driving sevant from day one when I got in a car.
