I replaced the faded duct tape the previous owner had on the fucked up bumper with new duct tape, and then even applied tape to the other, somewhat less fucked up side so it would be symmetrical.

I switched my winter tires to these Toyo Versados I got used for a bretty gud price and theyre almost new. I also changed the engine oil which felt great. Pouring in fresh oil is a good feel.

In the last month I've put on a new grille, side marker lights, and power folding mirrors.
I replaced my cigarette lighter outlet with a set of USB charge ports.

almost the entire front end on my camry. steering rack next weekend. none of this stuff has been touched in its 20 years of life. 200k miles. drives smooth as butter.
the engine is nearly 75k newer than the body so with basic care, fluids and belts, this zombie car will live into perpetuity.

My BD is way too ruined for such nice things.
Bought at auction, it was someone's poor man's rally project or something. It didn't even have an axle back..
Now it's just a winter beater until it dies (2 winters strong!)

Nah, I'm buying a header for the original NA 2.5. It's only 100 bucks and I'll have to save for many more months to afford all the parts so I figured it would be worth it for the time being for so little. I'm probably going to use the stock WRX header but with a catless up and downpipe, a high flow cat, and a custom catback since I don't think a WRX catback will bolt on.
I don't like the way the JDM projector headlights look (I think the projectors look like pupils and make it look dopey) so I'm sticking with either the aftermarket okay headlights I have on it or getting JDM non-projector headlights since they look cooler than the USDM regular headlights.
We don't have winters in Texas so I don't have to have a beater or even winter tires at all.
