I'd buy the Z4 over any of those, i'd only have a hard time picking it over the miata because of the costs.

That's not enough to justify paying 70k OTD. It's a horrible value. When Even the Audi TT and Merecedes SLK just updated their roadsters.
My dad sold his S2000 for one of these, because my dad doesn't care about stick shift and my mom can't drive it.

I heard that when the Z4's first came out, that their engines were GOAT, but mated to a piece of shit transmission that would constantly drop the engine out of it's power band, making it slower than it should have been.
borrowed a friends z4 3.0 with sport package for a weekend years ago.
Its a weird car, feels like you are being pulled around as opposed to you know, driving it.
more fun than a dodge caravan and chicks dig it would drive again

Yupp its outdated and due for a redesign. but it was competitive when first debuted
