How do we stop tesla?
And not just tesla, but new car manufacturers?
An anon posted something the other day that made me worried (pic related)
I don't know much about cars, and I just got into working on my own and it's starting to make me worry for our future that almost every new vehicle is computer controlled, or just now starting to dabble with autopilot.
You already are starting to become unable to work on newer model cars, and being removed almost entirely from driving them.
It's not fully here yet but we're advancing in that day faster than I'd like to admit.
I can't imagine living in a world where you can't show your kid how to work on their car, or not being able to get your friends together and just hit the road in your car of choice and doing what you want without having a fucking a mandatory autopilot.
How do we stop this, how do we bring the Terminator back to stop these machines?
Weld porn thread?
Stop being autistic

How is that being autistic? Literally everything I just listed will be standard in 25 years.
You aren't going to be able to work on your own car, and shortly after that, you won't even be able to drive it.

Oh no, spare time to do things other than drive while we travel. What ever shall we do?!
If you want to drive for fun, get into Motorsport. Poor people using public roads to get their kicks isn't a human right.

Nice strawman, faggot.
So just going for a Sunday drive in the country and actually driving your own vehicle is unreasonable? And where did I claim this to be a right?
>>14765385
Time to lube up you Amish faggot, the electric train ain't stopping for no-one.

But why was he fantasizing about dailying a 95 civic?

> Tesla
They literally released blueprints for their cars into the public domain. You could work on them if you knew electronics at all.
>>14765385
wew lad today you were the biggest faggot good job
>>14765439
Why would they forbid people from working on their cars and why would they outlaw old cars?
The whole issue of banning old cars has been discussed by the government before and rejected. It's not going to pass now.
Getting morons who neither can nor want to drive away from active driving through autopilots while letting car enthusiasts keep their mechanical, manual classics is the best thing that could happen.
You stop being an idiot luddite.
