You're throwing away a lot of money unless it's truly a track-only car. I'd do the regular GT350 with tech package, then add back lighter wheels.

And you're worrying about weight on a car that weighs almost two tons. Delete radio - what did that save? Delete AC - OK, but again it's still a heavy street car.
I just question who would buy an R and yet drive it on the street 80% of the time. It doesn't make sense unless you're seriously going to rip out the interior and race it.

For me, it has a sort of charisma that makes me not care about how well it performs. I know it's a solid performer, but I'm more excited by the fact that it's gorgeous and has some pretty unique features.

A very low mileage Mustang Cobra R doesn't even sell for more than its original MSRP today. The GT350R is not going to be any different. The hellcat was garbage tier the second it rolled off the lot. The 2003 Cobra was a much better value brand new, has much more right to be considered a classic, and it is still not worth that much money compared to its MSRP.
