Yeah, there's some discrepancies in VTEC and badging. For example, my car says "DOHC VTEC" on the sides in big letters, and so does my valvecover. I can assure you there is no VTEC, at all. It is a "vtec killer" setup, and I don't even have the rockers for the smaller lobes, so my idle sounds angry and it doesn't hot start for shit, or cold start without feeding it pedal.
