Same. City or County?

Also nothing major under the hood yet. Just got around to deleting my converter and upgrading the exhaust system. Trying to work on the suspension next.

What engine are you working with there?
>>
>>14759644

Dealing with a 2008 R32 at work. Owner says the key won't go in sometimes and she pretty much as to force it in which doesn't always work. When looking at the ignition lock cylinder I noticed it looked pretty dirty in there. Do these cars normally have a dust flap thingy in the key slot? I can't see one when I look in but I know mostly newer cars have one.

Pls help.

Not with car atm but I think so,

That's not good thou, lub it up
>>
>>14759707

My guess is the owner will most likely want it replaced. Only $80 for a new one and about one all-data hour to replace it. Otherwise I'll put some lithium grease in there.

I literally have nothing bad to say about my GTI. My old CC, however, was a nightmare on wheels...

Pic is not me CC or my GTI.

>>14759926
Nightmare? Why? The thought of buying a CC as a daily is always in the back of my mind.

Just got my MK6 GTI a couple weeks ago and I'm likin it so far. It has an APR stage1 on it and it's pretty fun for a small practical car.

I bought mine used with 65k. In the year I owned it I had to have it towed four times. Water pump failed. Timing chain failed. Spark plugs fouled, etc. Maybe mine was a lemon because, like I said, my GTI has been trouble free for two years.
>>
>>14763362
Plus, I hated the DSG in the CC...
>>
>>14762478
Stick. I can't stand driving automatics. Even though the GTI's auto is dual clutch I dunno why anyone wouldn't get the stick.

Yeah mine's a 2003 passat 4motion. So good in the snow. Also looks sexy with a ski rack.

So i have a 2004 R32 and the dogbone mount needs replacing. Anyone with an mk4 know if its better to get the bushings and replace myself or just get a new dogbone?
