>>
>>14758377
true that. I bought a 2004 deville in 2012 for 3500, it started breaking down all the time and got up to 200k miles so I sold it for 1500.

No, they don't retard. Pic related is $390,500. And unlike muscle cars that value isn't propped up by nostalgia. These have that value in Asian and European auction markets.

I can actually agree with that if they make at least 2 other models to go in this new "brand".

The original Escalade.

Some other model made for heave-duty luxury off-road like the Range Rover.

A smaller SUV than the Escalade.

and maybe something extreme like a huge ass truck like the Mercedes 6x6 (although it probably wouldn't be a 6 wheeler) just something huge big and flashy to draw attention to the new Escalade brand.

If they just make it with one car than that is just a waste of time (not to mention added confusion) although maybe Caddy wants to shake ties with GM and at least look like an independent brand with their own premium luxury dealerships away from GMC and Chevy.

The Escalade is one of the few cars that doesn't exactly have Cadillac's design language and is the most criticized for being just a re-badge upscale Tahoe

1931 Cadillac V-12 Convertible Coupe by Fleetwood

I would kill for a modern American V12. The closest we got was the Aston Martin V12s based on Ford V6 designs.

BMW, Mercedes, their value plummets almost immediately.

Really? what Ford V6s? i heard some of Ford V6s are based on mazda's design.

As well as the first mass produced v8. Anyone have the picture of all of Cadillacs technical achievements? Cadillac certainly can be described as an amazingly innovative company

Aston's Pre 5.2 Turbo V12s were based on the 3.0 L Duratec V6.

Most of it still is. You can buy SIX mint '50s Rolls-Royces for the same money as that Caddy. The '59 is merely the automotive personification of rock'n'roll and Route 66 fandom.
