/0/ desperately need your help. Took the bottom half of my carb apart for cleaning and this small object fell out and don't know where it goes. Carb is off a 1990 dr350. The small object inbetween my fingers has a larger hole on the bigger end and a really small hole on the end that narrows down, any ideas where it goes???

So your saying it goes there? How does that control the gas overflow, there's no orifices where the brass piece inserts into the bowl

One end has a big hole and the other end has a tiny hole and the end with the tiny hole slightly narrows down in shape

it appears to be a nozzle for a copper tube. Check the fitment on your lines.

apparently is a valve seemly needle however i can't get it seat properly, it just does seem to fit right

Take a photo of your floats. That looks like something I have seen before in my gs500 had no idea what it was either until I looked at the other carb and saw another in the float.
