sure, whatever you say buddy. do what makes you happy.
No. Nothing truly special about it other than being a beta tester car with special paint.
It's still a FIATA.

>investing in cars
just no
99.9% of cars are an absolutely terrible investment. Air cooled 911's, even though rising massively in price in the last few years, aren't even near to original retail prices back in the day (adjusting to inflation)
You will always lose money with a car.
>trusting fiat with anything

i'm just buttmad they made the only good launch color a special edition
>>14752504
True. Collecting modern cars is like collecting kitchen blenders.
If you can afford it, odds are it's not an appreciating collectible. Just drive it and write off the depreciation.

>new car that isn't a supercar
>investment

I still don't understand why they turbocharged it if their goal was 160hp. Why do that? They sure as fuck aren't doing for the aftermarket.
>>14752546
Marketing.
>>14752546
Because Italians are fucked in the head.
>>14752551
To what purpose? Nobody cares if it has a turbo and still only makes 160hp. Fiat doesn't have any interest in the aftermarket. They aren't going to make tunes or larger turbos.
>>14752581
But muh turbo
cars arent good investments. Go talk to a financial advisor.

Fun is a non-correlating asset.
What happens when you "invest" in a new car:
>Buy new car for $$$$$
>As you drive off the lot it drops to $$$$
>Since it's the first year of a new model, repairs will cost $
>Insurance will also take $ from your pocket, new car and all
>By the time you are ready to sell it, it will have cost you $$$$$$
>The car itself will prolly sell for $$
How actual investing in cars works:
>Buy an old ass Audi, BMW or what have you for $
>Fix body deformations, fit a more modern engine and transmission for about $ or $$.
>If all goes well you have a racing car with a stylish old car look.
>Sell it for $$$$ or even $$$$$
tl;dr: you only invest in cars if you know how to work on them

New cars aren't good investments, but that doesn't mean all cars aren't. 90s high trim cars are now appreciating. Cars like the NSX have already started appreciating and cars like the supercharged AW11s are only going to start going up in value as they've just about bottomed out.

This car is actually the perfect ideal, a match made in heaven

>However, such fears were quickly allayed upon the Arna's release when it became obvious that the Arna exhibited the worst qualities of each of its parents.[4] The Arna featured tempestuous mechanicals and indifferent build quality courtesy of Alfa Romeo,[5] married to a Nissan body of questionable build and frumpy styling, with insipid handling common to Japanese cars of the time.[6] This mismatch of technical strengths served to kill the sales of the Arna very rapidly.
