I love this logic. Men have been exposed to car culture since a young age because of gender perceptions that cars are for men, making them appreciate and understand cars more. Women do not receive these same levels of exposure because since of gender roles and hypermasculine car culture that tend to exclude them, so their appreciation for cars are currently not as highly developed as a whole.
