Hey /o/, newfig here. Haven't been on this specific board before but I need your help.
Long story short I have this shitty car (pic related, 1991 Mazda 323 and its the worst fucking car ever made) because I shrekt my old vehicle. The radio doesn't work, foam totally exposed, etc, etc. Mechanically it's pretty damn good but I'm the laughing stock of my campus.
Anyway dad feels sorta bad for me, so he said he's going to give me about 6,000 from his tax return to help with my car troubles. I got a job lined up right out of college so I'm fine in that department. I'll probably have 10k to get a car by August/September, so that's when I get rid of this shitty period blood red car.
I want a big car because I'm 6'3 and a half. Truck, SUV, crossover whatever. 1 year of this 323 and I already have neck and back pain from hunching over. Want a used, something in the 10-15k range. Like good sound systems and at least decent gas mileage, won't do anything lower than 17 mpg.

Buy an e39 BMW. Like 4k for a spanking new one, decent 7 second 0-60, comfy, nice looking, timeless design. I have one so i might sound pretty influenced, but fr they are very nice, plus you'll have 6k at least left over for upgrades and maintenance for the next 10 or so years (assuming you don't crash it)
