300rwhp seems ok power tho

New Camaro V6 and Mustang Ecoboost are just as fast, probably better to drive, and cheaper.

Plus, you can get a Mustang GT for that money that will shit on the Gencoupe.

$34,000 for a Korean car

Stay upset, yuropoor.

If you're looking for a performance vehicle, there's pretty much a US car in any bracket under $100,000 that shits on the competition, between the GT, new 'maro SS, Stingray and ATS-V.

If I was buying new, I wouldn't consider an import until the GT-R.

This is coming from someone who has driven mercedes, lexus and audi since he was 18.
>>
>>14741807
Shit for that money I think you have better options both used and new.

Get a BRZ for 25k and buy a turbo kit for 5K. Boom you got a faster car for 30k.

I'd get a supercharger, to be quite honest family. Fits more with the design of the car.

Could you elaborate on this please?

can it kill the torque dip ?

Just get a V8 Mustang

I think he wants a car that can take a corner without wrapping around a tree thank you
>>

Well memed
>>
>>14742538
New mustangs can turn but thank you for proving your automotive knowledge is just the culmination of shitposts on /o/. There's absolutely no reason to get a Genesis over a S550 GT or even 370z, the latter is getting outdated though.
>>
>>14742411
Please elaborate [2]
>>
>>14742443
I heard you can get rid of that with an ECU flash.

The old live axle Mustangs could turn as well as BMW M3s, the new ones are even better
>>
>>14741807
Don't waste your money on it. A 2016 Mustang GT is a much better car in pretty much every way.

Qwhat
>>
>>14741807
I had a 13 2.0T for 9 months, it's a terrible car. Lol, that carbon syncros gimmick is hilarious considering how horrid their transmissions are. I know they're slightly different(not in any considerable way) than the 2013 model but it's like a slap in the face for anyone that owns one and knows how terrible they are.

The handling is very far from remarkable. The Genesis is an understeering piggy out of the box. The steering is numb. The interiors are rattle boxes. The transmission has action comparable to a stick in the bucket of water.

Also, that 350hp is a peak rating number. Meaning lined up next to an E90 or an F30 335i it'd get blown the fuck out since those engines make power evenly across the whole rev range rather than 350hp for 500rpm.

>implying Hyundai hasn't come a far way from the 90s
>implying they're any worse than American cars
>implying american car interiors come anywhere close to that of Hyundai
Hyundai Is mid to above average tier now. Any one saying other wise is an uninformed baby boomer.
>>
>>14744068
Genesis interior only looks good. You know those 3 gauges in the center console? They'll have scratch marks if you run a rag across them with the slightest bit of pressure. The screw that holds the shift knob comes undone and rattles at higher RPMs. Often, at new, the sun visor has a distinct Hyundai rattle to it, so does the headliner. Also, make sure you have the nails of a Stacy that's about to go on a date, otherwise you'll scratch the steering wheel.

Hyundai is a lot better now, but the Genesis coupe is a turd

Why does it even have the Genesis name? The Genesis sedan is legitimately great
>>
>>14742442
>>14742569
the GT86 is a about quick responeses
superchargers are better for that compared to turbo
>>
>>14742443
A tune solves the torque dip but that's just a bench racer problem.
>>
Why does it still have penis windows
>>

>buying a new car

Lease it, drive the tits off of it, give it back. Even if you buy it and sell it after 4 years it's going to be worth jack shit. I'd rather loose the money on a lease and not have to worry about maintaining it and eventually selling it to some drifter wannabe.
>>
>>14745328
>renting a shitty car
Why not just buy a good car in the first place?
>>
>>14745433

Because modern cars are designed to be replaced like cellphones and very few of them hold their value. Nobody wants to buy a 5 year old used Kia or Hyundia. If your looking at something like a Honda or Toyota, buying makes sense because they actually hold their value.

Hyundai's ARE good enough for most people, obviously not the car aficionados of /o/.
>>
>>14746663
Good car as in a V8 Mustang for the same price
>>

>pigfat v6
something doesnt add up
unless thats an american engine i cant picture a chink company making something like that
