I heard Ducati does that, do any Japanese companies?

They do for some Gundam models.

A lot of newer bikes have selectable engine maps.
>For example Suzuki: A mode - full power, B mode - reduced power except at full throttle, C mode - baby mode
Don't know if any require a seperate key tho?

Does the company charge more to get the special key? No. Then why does it matter? Companies like Dodge know that only rich kids with daddy's money are going to buy a Hellcat, and it probably makes some parents comfortable knowing that the engine can be toned down just buy switching keys.

It's mostly for valet parking

>other key tones it down from 700 hp to 500 hp
>There, now I can sleep easy knowing johnny won't wrap himself around a tree with a mere 500 hp

If you are letting a friend borrow your car, or valeting your car. why not?
So does a segway. Do you want the valet getting every horse to be free to roast the tires and smack into walls and other cars? I think not.
