My business has a Buick Regal ls with the supercharger and 'monsoon touring suspension', whatever that is. Fun car to drive, highest boost I've seen it is around 6lbs. We got it for a few thousand.

Surprisingly enough, with all the options the 1.0T can be nearly as expensive as a base model Fiesta ST.
OP. Fiesta ST has a bunch of rebates on it right now and you can get a base model for less than 16k used. Good luck finding one used though, the Focus ST gets traded in way more frequently.
Mk4 gti/ jetta
Can be had under 2000 all day
And the ones with awp motors usually came with ko3s hybrid turbos that made 12psi
Saturn Ion Redline
Lolvo 850 for a grand
W-body cars from GM came with the supercharged 3.8 which is easy to make power from. Real shame such a good engine was attached to incredibly weak FWD transmissions that will blow up above 300 FWHP.
