I think it is a sad thing that this is the image Lamborghini has received. I love the cars for performance and looks. I want one so I can stare at it and drive it like a rocket ship, not for other people to look at and take pictures.

When your cars are a few million and people drool all over them of course the only reason to buy them becomes a status thing.

I kinda stopped caring about Lamborghini after the Diablo and Murcielago since that to me were their last two very unique designs in my opinion.
The "Aventador" looks like a highly updated Murcielago and all of their newer cars just kinda resemble each other too much kinda like Porsche (although Porsche wasn't about making flashy bed-room posters and just about being a benchmark if anything).
Although i still kinda have some respect for them since they contributed to the creation of the Viper we all know today by casting its engine in aluminum.

I live in Las Vegas and I see Lamborghinis all day for me they have lost that rare super car image. The same when I went to Dubai in a 4 days trip I saw lamborguibis everywhere Arabs just revving the engines all the time. It's just annoying.
Funny thing last week here in Las Vegas I saw the new mustang gt350 and I did a u-turn to check it out and take some pics.
