Because the 3000gt was the biggest hunk of hsit ever, I mean, it was cool as fuck and was fun to drive, but shit broke on it literally once a month. I put 5000g into it in the first year just in maintenance.
Plus the Lancers aren't know to be super reliable either.

Fuck Mitsubishi for changing the shape of the valve cover gasket for the exact same engine. Runs a lot nice with a new set of plugs tho, after I figured out the order of the leads. Tappets aren't tapping as loudly, going to use a slightly thicker oil when I do the oil change later this week.
I have a Subaru Legacy from the same year, pretty much the Lancer's competitor, the Legacy is so much more ahead of the the Lancer in every way. The only reason I'm driving the lancer is because my legacy's engine committed sudoku
