Is the Jeep Renegade an acceptable Batmobile?
A lot of people say it's got a lot of problems with its setup and that doesn't keep good pace with its competitors. Some WTF choices made when building the car feels more like the Renegade are needlessly alluding to other Jeep models. By the end of your drive you don't feel any emotional connection with the car and you just want to get out. The whole car just feel like a hot mess.

Anyways, OP, the Renegade is a Fiat with a bodykit. It's even made in Italy.
Renegade is some low rent jeep. It looks targeted to poor millenials that want the jeep brand but can't afford the wrangler. Or middle aged women that worry about the snow as they drive to costco.
Fuck that vehicle, fca, the assholes that made the song, and the whole jeep brand/image.
The new Renegades shouldn't even be called Renegades. It's some European-esque econobox with a shitty 4 cylinder engine. Why couldn't they just keep this design? It's a 2010 Jeep Liberty Renegade.
I'm especially upset about it since this was my first car.

The 2010 Liberty was my first car also. It was a great vehicle off road despite having mediocre clearance.

The Renegade name is actually a storied name at Jeep and wasn't just a variation of the Liberty. If anything, the use of the Renegade name on the Liberty is more damaging to the name than the new Renegade is.
Renegade started as a trim level/option package on Jeeps in the 1970's. I believe it started on the CJ5 or CJ7.

Funnily enough, it rides on the GM/Fiat SCCS platform, which is also know at GM as the Gamma platform.
