>tfw no manual Lincoln Mark VIII
That car looks like your momma sat on the bonnet
>>14720021
It's called the Thunderbird Supercoupe.
Also, its an easy swap to put in a manual
>>14720040
manual swap into the Mark VIII. The first years most SCs came with a manual.
The supercharged V6 is very nice.
>>14720040
If I wanted that kind of styling, I would have just gone with an LX 5.0 Foxbody or something.
>tfw no Bentley
>>14720048
Its a modified foxbody, most performance upgrade swap right in.
/o/ cracks me up
You love these literal shitboxes but hate actual good cars.
They did make a manual Mark VIII btw it's called the Mustang Cobra
>>14720199
literally kill yourself
>>14720199
>They did make a manual Mark VIII btw it's called the Mustang Cobra
Go ahead and compare interiors.
>>14720218
>Go ahead and compare interiors.
K
They both look like total cheap shit
>>14720081
its not that year is on the mn12 platform the last fox tbirds were made in 88
>90's/00's Ford interiors
Why are they so fuckin bad
>>14720249
>>14720249
Becuase believer it or not the 90's was a horrible time to own an American car.
All three skimped on quality and regurgitated the same shit all throughout their lineups. Often using engines whose designs were as old as the intended buyer.
>>14720249
The early 90's 7th gen SC has a very nice interior, for a Ford.
Its high quality, well made plastic. shit is actually screwed in place, not clipped in.
I normally hate Ford's shitty interior, the constant brakes, the ovaly bubbles, stacked panels, huge gaps. The Thunderbird on the other hand was well made.
>>14720276
>that picture
>>>>nice
No
>>14720233
The Lincoln looks luxuriant.
>>14720276
that's pretty gross dude
>>14720283
For a Ford. Its well made, and in good taste. The chrome is well used, the plastic feels good.
Compare that to a mid 90's Taurus.
>>14720290
c'mon, look at it. Its nice.
>>14720276
>>14720297
that would be nice for the early 80s or late 70s maybe
>>14720297
I don't know about "nice" but it's at least average.
>>14720301
>>14720304
again, for a Ford.
I really hate defending this car, especially since you need to remove the goddamn AC compressor to change a spark plug, the interior is fucking comfy. The seats are well padded, they feel nice.
Are there 10x better interiors for the same price range, and year. Probably. But for a Ford its pretty fucking nice.
I will hate on Fords all day, but the SC is well made.
>>14720286
That is quite literally a picture of the same shitty material in different shapes. Same shitty loose plastics with broken clips and random rattles and squeaks.
They sure got fools like you.
>>14720233
>>14720297
Good example here. Same gen car, but one is that shit ford interior, the other is their performance line.
The SC is a GT. Its a lot more "luxurious" than the Mark VIII
>>14720021
>landyacht with 2 doors
For what purpose?
>>14720348
its a personal luxury car
>>14720348
Because /o/tists have no friends, like luxury/comfy cars, and hate modern car design. 2 seats are all we need.
>>14720297
You're delusional.>>14720297
>>14720453
It has 4 seats
>>14720021
I didn't know I wanted this car until I saw this picture.
Now I really want this car.
>17/24 MPG
>300HP V8
>slick as fuck styling
>American excess, condensed
Tasty, tasty, tasty.
>>14720313
>since you need to remove the goddamn AC compressor to change a spark plug
No you don't
Source: once an owner of a SuperCougar
>>14720851
It made it much easier if I did.
dont get me started on that dipstick, shit is in the way of the left bank. like right here, cant make a fist to unscrew anything. need to remove it, or get a girl with small hands to come in and do things
>>14720233
Same cheap looking plastic with the same horrid fitment tolerances. One is simply a different shape and has some fake wood on it.
