I want a Clio V6
>>14717555
Less likely than DS coming here from the sounds of it.
The brand of absolutely nothing mentionworthy, ever. At least Peugeot did a little rallying.
>>14717643
won le mans in 1978
F1 Constructor's Championships
the Turbo 5
they also destroyed nissan but let's leave that for another thread

>imblyign
These are the madmen that stuffed a race-bred V6 in the back of a Clio, and a full F1 drivetrain into an Espace shell.
Also they make some of the best hot hatches money can buy.
>>14717643
Alpine was amazing.
Also, they saved Nissan which was 100% inefficient when they bought a part of it.

lucky murricans, don't have to deal with one of the shittest brands ever as often as us europoors.
>>14717602

>>14717696
>they make some of the best hot hatches money can buy.
bullshit
>>14719406
only nearly cool thing they ever did, since the engine not being in the front must be magnitudes easier to work with.
regular renaults, niche models, turbo coppas, etc they're all shitty quality even for european standards (only marginally better than opel and dacia, which is poor man's renault).
Some day ;_;

actually diesels do usually last for longer than petrol, but renault engines... now that's a different thing.1.7, 2.0 and 2.2 renault engines are known for shitting the bed no matter how well treated.
>>14719666
I was going to reply with something like "muh 1.9 VAG diesel engines reliability" but, frankly, for the most part, european cars are absolute shit. I also hate french cars with a passion anyway.

>I don't know a shit about automotive : the post.
Beside the fact Renault launched the hatchback with the R4 and the monospace with the Espace they changed the F1 world with the turbo and democratized it in serial car.
Today they regulary win as engine provider (2010 to 2013 with red bull) and they build the best FWD of the market with the Megane RS Trophy.
You're welcome.
