my 93 ranger has cruise and it's a manual. My 05 p71 does not. Depends on your options.
>>
>>14715034
They sure as fuck have not.

My first car was a standard and cruise control was not a thing. I still loved it, but a 3200km round trip made me wish for cruise control.

It took me just abot a year to realise that my car had two types of cruise control; constant speed AND limiter... I used only the limiter for nearly a year
>>
>>14715085
Damn.
My Ranger is a 1992 manual and doesn't have it.

I don't really care because I never use it when I borrow cars that have it anyway though.
I like to constantly be in control.

My ยด99 Honda Accord has cruise control...

Part of this is cruise control used to be an option, like power windows or A/c. My 1986 honda accord has cruise control paired with 5 speed. Also has power windows,AC, lots of other cool shit.

My '88 Prelude Si had cruise.

You know whats annoying?

My honda's cruise control cant ever seem to stay still, its always accelerating and decelerating by very small amounts, I have a vacuum guage and it cant seem to ever stay still. It over corrects, fixes it then cuts power off and it drops below my set limit increase power but over kills it....rinse repeat,

Its prob a old car thing, my 2011 camry and 2015 accord dont do it.
>>
>>14716275
What did you think of the 3g seats? I pulled a set to put into my 245. I've heard they're notoriously comfy and they feel it just sitting in them while they're on the floor; I cant wait to put them on rails and mount them in.
>>
Both my Z33 and mk4 have cruise control.

But the mk4's cruise control doesn't cut off when the clutch is disengaged.

OP here.

I was always under the impression that manual can't do cruise control for reasons. Your telling me it's been available for decades already?

I need to reevaluate my life.

My 99 Ram and 83 Capri do not

> my 80 Celica had it too
>>
>>14715030
Autos also don't. Cruise control is an option that holds the car at a set speed, it has nothing to do with the trans
>>
My 1971 240z has cruise control... kinda

It was a dealership option I'm pretty sure, but it just locks the throttle at the same position. How it differs from modern cruise control is that it doesn't turn off when you apply the brakes; you have to manually turn cruise control off in an emergency situation.
>>
I was previously driving an '03 focus zx3 with 5spd standard. No cruise control or anything.

Bought a '15 FiST and it not only has cruise control, but hill start assist as well.

Manuals have always had cruise control. All it does is maintain speed, it's not like it changes gears.
>>
>>14715030
They've been out for a while buddy. It's not really a complicated concept. The computer just pauses acceleration when the clutch is pushed in.
>>
>>14715546
>owning an EVO instead of a 2nd gen STI
>>
>>14719644
Pretty sure the clutch disengages cruise. At least that's how mine have always worked.

It's more like an RPM control on a manual. Can engage it in first if you really wanted, and continue it in second gear doing a different speed at the same rpm.
>>
>>14715030

I don't use cruise control. Cruise control is for faggots who need to gitgud. I only control my speed manually with my foot the way god intended it. Fucking cruise control bullshit technology. You're not a real enthusiast if you use cruise control.

>>14715030
My 2002 sentra manual has cruise control.
Being manual limits it only because it can't kick down on a steep hill or to pass a car.
Most of the time it's a non issue on the very rare chance I use it.

>>14716251
The 2 liters ran to 9 there champ.

>It's more like an RPM control on a manual

This, I can use it in all gears thus far. First is so short it 's useless to begin with but I'll try it out. Let's see if the computer let's me do it.

What year was your first car? Because cruise control has literally been available as an option on manuals since the 70s.
>>
>>14716958
The limit is that the CC cannot downshift on hills, so if the engine lugs too much (wide open throttle but still not able to get within some percentage of the target speed), it'll just disengage.
>>
>>14715103
my 03 350z has it
