I'm now wondering what the naca duct in the centrer ventilates
>tfw there is four more of them with no obvious purpose
>>14714511
the rs200 is midengine
>>14714511
you can literally see the engine through the window
there are ones for cabin ventilation also
Is the roof scoop for the aircon?
>>14716500

REEEEE
I hate how when the released the r version (I think) it has a non functioning roof scoop. They just glued that fucker on. It was limited production, just fucking do it right.
>>14717200
It's functional tho, it feeds the ITBs with colder, higher pressure air.

fucntional on the jgtc nsx sure, what purpose does it serve on a stock nsxr?
>>14717273
Even if it doesn't, it can. You remove the intake cover and order a new one from either Mugen or Spoon that works with the scoop and you're good to go. Honda didnt make it functional for two reasons, ITBs make a fuckton of noise without an intake cover(jap noise regulations are ballsy as fuck) and while they can sell a car with absolutely no creature comforts, they can't just sell it without an air filter(again japanese regulations).

the airbox is only functional on the super GT car, which has a longitudinal engine.
the reason the NSX-R GT exists was to homologate bodywork for that car.
