My dad walked into the Ford dealership 10 years ago to purchase a GT. He told the salesman that he was purchasing it. The salesman went to tell the owner that they have someone buying it, owner comes out and rips the sticker off and says "not for sale."

It makes me sad because yes, we have the p1 and the 918 and the la ferrari, veyrons and chirons, and who knows how many koenigseggs (might have spelled that wrong), but none of those really inspire the awe in me that the F1 did. Their performance figures are jaw-dropping, yes, but there's just something about the F1 that puts it on a pedestal above the pedestals those other cars are on. We'll probably never see another car like the F1 again. Its not like ill ever have even close to the amount of money Id need to buy one, Ill probably never even sit in one, and I might not even see one in person, but still. Fuck lol
