Hi guys, i'm engineer and coming to usa. What's the best manual saloon under 6-7k ? Coupes count too. ( rwd will be better though )
What do you mean saloon?
I'm curious. Does searching "saloon" on google image search in the UK bring up something completely different?

you know what i mean guys. Sedan basically.
this is at Gillys Saloon, looks good to me

Fucking pathetic.
Define best.
If you want maximum horsepower per dollar get a Pontiac G8 and put an HX11 from a Cummins diesel on it.
Maximum /comfy/ is probably either a CVPI or some Cadillac shit.
Sporty American used cars are the Pontiac Solstice, Corvette, and MAYBE a mustang... depending on what you do.

What mileage?
Where are you planning on moving to?
Are you opposed to driving American?
Does i t have to be a certain year range?

>coming to America
>asking advice on an American board
>Using terms that aren't American
You earned this

OP, most cars in America are automatic. Only 6-8% of all cars in America have manual transmissions. So the choice of manual cars is pretty fucking slim here.
That said:
BMW 3 series
BMW 5 series
Acura TSX
Acura TL
Honda Civic/Acura Integra/Acura RSX
Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird
Nissan 240SX
Nissan 300ZX
1984-1988 Nissan 200SX (1995-1999 Nissan 200SX's were FWD)
Chevrolet Cavalier/Pontiac Sunfire
Chevrolet Cobalt/Saturn Ion
Lexus SC300 (manual SC300's are RARE as fuck)
1990-2002 Nissan Sentra/Nissan 200SX (make sure it's the 2.0L, not the 1.6L or 1.8L. Pic is a 1995-1999 Sentra.)
Volvo 850
Volvo 740/940
Subaru Impreza/Legacy/Forester/Outback
Most of these cars are on the sticky.

Except the 850 is FWD

He never said the 850 was RWD, and there are plenty of other FWD cars listed. Wtf are you on about?
OP, If you can find a '08+ Cobalt SS Sedan(Saloon) for 8k I'd go for that. The LNF can make some damn decent numbers with "a few simple mods".

>08+ Cobalt SS Sedan
The Cobalt SS Turbo sedan is out of OP's price range and much rarer than you think.
Supercharged 04-07 Ion Redlines and Cobalt SS's still go for 8-9k.
08+ Turbo SS's are 10k+.
The Cobalt SS Turbo sedan was only offered for 1 model year, 2009, and only around 600 were made.
