Ford trucks had that problem for a while...when making hard right turns, (or left..whatever I don't remember) the lugs just snapped on the front passenger side and there goes your wheel and tire.
And something else I thought was interesting...the whole Exploder tire thing...made at the same plant as the Mustang...I read an article that said Mustangs from that plant had been recalled because the tram thingie they were on had been set too narrow...not enough to stop the line, but enough to damage the tires.... obviously not the same line the Exploders were rolling off of, but if they made that mistake with one line in that plant, why not with the Exploders? Makes me think that they passed off their mistake on to Firestone
