i'm personally holding out hope for battery tech to catch up to ICE and then they won't have to give a flying fuck about muh mpgees anymore and range will be mostly irrelevant due to a much more mature charging infrastructure
then they can cut loose and put back in all the good stuff like hydraulic power steering and enjoy those sweet EV torks
