Vinyl vanished and came back for connoisseurs.

Will Manuel come back at some point?

Will "open source" cars or home assembly car KITs become a trend?

not until american media and safety regs change

This. Although less with media and more with regulations. The media are all about cloud this and download that, yet vinyl is having a resurgence. However, there are no regulations in the music industry (that I know of) making vinyl records harder to produce with ease, whereas the auto industry is riddled with them.

Yes, but in super-expensive limited editions, like the Porsche 911 R (which brings back Porsche's 6-speed).

It already did.

>what is paddle shifters, just the evolution and update of manual transmissions

Basic bitch manuals are more like 8 track tapes. There's no use for them. They are not superior in any way to modern technology.

What are you talking about, you can get kit cars onto the road legally in every state quite easily, and there are tons of manufacturers of kits

Vinyl and analog is a superior way of listening to music. This fact never went away. We went digital because it was cheap and compact.

Automatics have reached the point where they can surpass manual transmissions in both performance and economy. Even if you fight and win keeping manual transmissions in cars, there is still fly by wire throttles, steering, and maybe brakes in the near future.

New vinyl records are almost twice the price of a CD

Millennials pay big money for stupid shit.

Because there is only one company that still produces vinyls

This. American regs on automobiles are a hotchpotch of 1970s gas crisis panics, 1930s-60s protectionism, and 2000s nanny statism

It never went away, and there are already plenty of kit cars. The people who gravitate to both things now still will in the future.

>>what is paddle shifters

it's not even close to manual.

most won't even let you go to redline and will shift up automatically EVEN WHEN YOU'RE IN MANUAL MODE.

it's a complete joke.

It fucking left the mainstream market.

You can't fucking tell me vinyl is still around the same like it used to in its peak times.

When the Compact Disc got shilled to hell and back, vinyl was pretty much dead in the big markets and only came close to being popular again due to DJ and club culture, also collectors.

>he fell for the vinyl meme
Vinyl is objectively retarded. No human being will ever be able to tell the quality difference between FLA and vinyl, and 99% wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 320 Kbps MP3 and vinyl. Plus vinyl records are really fucking expensive.

At least manual transmissions are more fun and cheaper than autos.

ICE with a steering wheel will be the millenialmobile in 40 or 50 years. Manual or auto doesn't matter, everything else will be self-driving and full electric
