Rofl thanks, I talked to a guy with that same setup while I was getting my c6 dynoed. He supercharged it off the showroom, made 800 wheel with just a upgraded fuel pump and he ran it like that till it blew at 50k miles. Now it's bored over and such, was just impressed a stock ls3 could take that much for so long.

Just go to a dyno day wherever you can find one. Pulls are usually about $25 each around here, and you'll want to more than one. You probably wont be allowed to fuck around on a shop's dyno unless you know a guy. Most wont let you do any tuning yourself on their dyno time. Which is fine since road tuning is perfectly adequate to tune a car properly.

Yeah there's nothing complicated about this awd system, its a relatively primitive affair with no fancy torque vectoring. Little bit of tyre slip on the dyno was kind of scary!
At the moment they're some TD04-9B's I freshened up a few years ago but there needs to be more flow, so thinking the TD05 system- which is a lot of work as I'd have to go through and redo all the pressure side and that's a lot of plumbing.
Have also considered a big single setup as well, which cuts down on the plumbing, but makes the exhaust side a bit of a shit to setup.

I'm not really in any hurry to do either, its just a street car

Well, that is a relatively pigfat 3,700lb car, if my google skills didn't fail me, but ~9.5lb:hp isn't bad for a street car at all, it's plenty. My DD is at roughly 8.4lb:hp, but I can't put the power down. AWD probably means you can launch really hard. How's the handling with such a heavy AWD car?

This is the GTO MR which is a bit lighter than her more well appointed cousins, on the scales with all the junk, spare tyre and tools out of it, half a tank of juice it was 1470kg, which I think that's around 3250 burger units off the top of my head.
Which is a 'big-ish' car, but most modern commuter cars are around that or much heavier now anyway. Heck I think most of the big-6cylinder Fords and Holdens here are around the 18-1900kg mark!

Its not the most nimble of cars, takes some wrestling through a really tight corner but you can do it mostly because of the insane amounts of traction.
Literally does it rain, hail or shine. Suspension isn't to bad across rough surfaces either, that weight it does have seems to smooth out the ride some, unlike a lot of the lighter Nissan's Ive usually owned in the past which tended to bounce around a bit on our more shitty roads

I use a lighter Z15 chassis, not the slightly heavier Z16 and there's literally nothing really in the car. Its still got climate control and 'some' noise dampening, but all the fancy exhaust-settings, electronic suspension, active aero and standard gears been binned.
It doesn't even have cruise control, which is enough to make most millennial car buyers run screaming elsewhere.

That said, its an old car with old design now. Most of the technology is late-80's at best.

LS3's are probably one of the best engines to abuse in the GM's history

Plenty of users driving high lift cam/head setups with tons of boost and have decently high mileage. The LS3 will take a lot of abuse, a 1LE owner a year or so ago ran his car/head setup as a purely track car only. I think he got around 40-50,000 miles on the engine before dropping a cammed 402 in.
