Can't wait for the shitstorm of 1 mph tickets being fought in court.

they'd better get them radars calibrated weekly
Moving there in May. Fuck this.
My average speed on the highways of NC has been somewhere around 88-92 mph...I'm not overly concerned. Of course I'm white, so that helps.
Considering tire size directly impacts speedometer calibration, I can't see this lasting very long. (Yes, I know tire wear will actually lower your speed compared to what's indicated, but some manufacturers tires have different sidewall heights for the same indicated size and performance level.)
Raleigh here. They are literally lining people up on the side of the road ticketing for this.

>damn this budget shit is hard man
>yeah, looks like we're in the negatives as usual
>shit you think we need to cut spending? maybe stop with these stupid fucking projects? maybe we just try to do this shit right or something I donno
>nah man, i've got an idea
Government, not even once.

What road? I live in Durham and work in Chapel Hill, but make the trek over to Raleigh pretty often.
If they're gonna do this, I hope they raise speed limits to what people actually travel at.
